Prepare one complete PowerPoint slide per selected microbial phylum listed below that highlights the microbes’ major characteristics. Each slide should provide a brief overview to give a relatively full picture of the microbe. You have to select up to 19 microbial phyla to summarize. Don’t forget to include pictures as well. Your summey should have the following information:
- Microbial group taxonomic name/affiliation
- Unique structures or morphological features
- Metabolic capabilities and diversity within the group
- Interactions with / impacts on environment
- Interactions with humans, animals, or plants (disease/health/microbiome/food)
- Possible applications or methods of diagnosis and cure (if pathogenic)
