Why was slavery so important to the South? How was the issue of slavery a cause of the American Civil War? Be sure to address a number of ways that slavery became connected to other political issues before the Civil War.
You should submit one original post (answer the prompt) and provide three posts in response to other participants’ threads.The post replies should show whether you agree or disagree and explain why with supporting evidence. You should include references for your original post.
